58mm camera filters

400d canon camera, does any one know what size filter thread it has?

Hi, Really new to photography… Im looking at a lense on trademe (ebay) and it says it will fit “ANY digital camera that has 43mm, 46mm 52mm, 55mm or 58mm Filter thread “. I have a canon 400d, but not sure how to find out what filter thread i have. Is it standard… i think mine might be 55? Any information would be great, Thanks

For example, the kit lens needs 58 mm filter.
